RESEARCH GRANT: The UEFA Research Grant Programme The UEFA Research Grant Programme is designed to establish a series of awards of up to €20,000 to support the valuable work of doctoral and post-doctoral researchers studying European football. By shedding new light on football and the myriad ways in which it interrelates with society as a whole, quality research can help the members of the European football family fulfil their mission and reach more informed decisions. GERMANY: STUDIENSTIFTUNG DES ABGEORDNETENHAUSES VON BERLIN The Studienstiftung des Abgeordnetenhauses von Berlin (Study Foundation of the Berlin House of Representatives) sponsors a scholarship program that aims at supporting young scholars. The program is directed to applicants from the United States of America, Great Britain, France and the countries succeeding from the former Soviet Union. The applicants should be working on projects concerned with Berlin, Germany or German-international questions or should want to use research facilities in Berlin in all other fields. The scholarship should be used to advance academic education at a Berlin institution of higher education. GERMANY: Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe The Bavarian Ministry for Science, Research and Art will sponsor scholarships for the academic year 2014/15. Graduates from Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine are eligible to apply. The scholarships are meant to finance doctoral or postgraduate studies at Bavarian universities. The objective of the annual scholarship program is to support scientific cooperation and academic exchange between Bavaria and Central-, Eastern- and Southeastern Europe.

1615 - Kyiv-Mohyla brotherhood school, later turned into Collegium, was founded

2012 - NaUKMA is a classical university with six faculties (Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Economics, Computer Sciences, Natural Sciences). During the twenty years since its re-establishment, Academy has initiated reforms in higher education, was the first university in Ukraine to introduce the bachelor, master and PhD programs, a curriculum in Liberal Arts Education, and a system of entrance tests
