FINLAND: Helsinki Summer School Helsinki Summer School is a three-week academic event organised every August by University of Helsinki, Aalto University and Hanken School of Economics. Each year we give advanced degree students from over 60 countries an unforgettable experience that combines high academic studies with a wide range of cultural and social activities. USA: Harvard Ukrainian Summer Institute The only program of its kind in North America, the Harvard Ukrainian Summer Institute (HUSI) offers seven weeks of intensive accredited university instruction in Ukrainian studies. The program is run jointly by the Harvard Summer School and the Ukrainian Research Institute and has been in existence since 1971. Students can take advantage of Harvard’s many research and instructional facilities, including the largest Ucrainica library collection outside of Eastern Europe, museums, and a language resource center. In the past HUSI participants have included undergraduates, graduate students, and professionals from North and South America, Asia, Africa, and Europe including Ukraine. GERMANY: Summer school grants for German language courses in Bavaria 2014 Summer school grants of the Free State of Bavaria for students and young scientists from Central-, Eastern- and Southeastern Europe

1615 - Kyiv-Mohyla brotherhood school, later turned into Collegium, was founded

2012 - NaUKMA is a classical university with six faculties (Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Economics, Computer Sciences, Natural Sciences). During the twenty years since its re-establishment, Academy has initiated reforms in higher education, was the first university in Ukraine to introduce the bachelor, master and PhD programs, a curriculum in Liberal Arts Education, and a system of entrance tests
