NaUKMA Cooperation Programs and Projects
TEMPUS

Tempus is the European Union’s program which supports the modernization of higher education in the Partner Countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Western Balkans and the Mediterranean region, mainly through university cooperation projects. Tempus provides support to consortia of institutions composed mainly of universities or university associations. The overall objective of Tempus is to contribute to the creation of an area of cooperation in the field of higher education between the European Union and Partner Countries in the countries neighboring the EU. NaUKMA has been active in implementation of the Tempus projects since 1994.
Further information on the Tempus projects can be obtained from the National Tempus Office in Ukraine and The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission.
