Tempus Programme
1) Joint European Projects
• Curriculum Development Projects
• University Management Projects
• Training Courses for Institution Building
A Tempus grant may co-finance up to 95% of the eligible costs of a project. The maximum
grant for any project may not exceed:
• 500,000 for a project lasting, in principle, 3 years;
• 300,000 for a project lasting, in principle, 2 years.

• 150.000 for a project lasting, in principle, 1 year
DEADLINE: 15 February and 15 October, 2006
3) Individual Mobility Grants
• Type 1: Preparation of a Joint European Project proposal - between one week and two weeks
• Type 2: Participation in a specific event (for example, a conference, seminar, workshop, network meeting or other event related to higher education reform) - between one week and two weeks
• Type 3: Retraining period or study period, collaboration on a specific academic subject, dissemination of good practice - between one week and eight weeks.
Target Grantholders:
• Administrative staff with specific responsibilities;
• Teaching staff
• Technical staff;
• Student association staff, student representatives;
• Education experts
