On September 22 - round table discussion: Hanover University and NaUKMA students and faculty
On September 22 NaUKMA (particularly, Department for Foreign Cooperation) hosts a group of students (20 people) of the Hanover University (Germany) and Prof. Barbara Duden who comes to Ukraine with field trip to learn more about the social background of the Ukrainian labor migration to the countries of the Western Europe.
We invite you to participate in the round table discussion between these German students and NaUKMA Department of Sociology Faculty and students. The main topic is rather broad - transformation in the Ukrainian society since the 1990th.
But we plan to put stress on some particular issues: Tamara Martsenyuk – on gender situation in Ukraine (particularly in the labor market), Olena Bogdanova – migration trends in Post-Soviet Ukraine, and Mykhailo Wynnytskyj – transformation of socio-economic situation in Ukraine.
The event takes place in NaUKMA building 5, room 313 on September 22 (Tuesday) from 16.00 till 18.00.
