EXCHANGE PROGRAM
September-December or January-May Semester 2010-2011
The NaUKMA-CERES exchange program offers NaUKMA 1-year Master Programs’ Students and ASPIRANTURA / PhD students a unique opportunity for research, studying, and establishing international professional and personal contacts.
Research areas: social science (e.g. Political Science, Sociology, Social Work, Law, Journalism), and humanities (Cultural Studies, Modern History).
Financial support includes the cost of travel, a living and housing stipend, and overseas health insurance.

Application Procedure
First of all, you have to submit to the Department for Foreign Cooperation (in person - NaUKMA Building 5, room 312, contact person – Tamara Martsenyuk) by January 28 the following documents:
1) your CV
2) statement of purpose (1 page maximum)
3) two letters of reference (one should be from your research advisor, the second – from the head of department/faculty; request your referees to enclose the letter of reference in a sealed envelope with a signature across the seal. Letters should be in English or Ukrainian).
Those pre-selected will be invited to the interview with NaUKMA selection committee in early February.
Attention: Final application package of the selected candidate should include a valid TOEFL (not more than 2 years old, Internet-based test, minimum score 93, writing/speaking 22), IELTS (minimum score 7.0) result. THE CANDIDATE SELECTED SHOULD EITHER HAVE SUCH A TEST RESULT BY THE NaUKMA DEADLINE (which is most preferable!) OR TO BE READY TO PASS IT IMMEDIATELY (results must be ready till mid-April 2010 the latest). Please note that the program does not cover the exam cost!
P.S. Master students selected should be ready to take academic leave for 1 year if other arrangements are impossible.
