The Solomon Asch Center for Study of Ethnopolitical Conflict will offer an interdisciplinary 8-week Summer Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.
Summer Institute faculty members are leading scholars and practitioner working on ethnopolitical conflict and its consequences, and they are drawn from across the country and around the world, with an emphasis on experts affiliated with the Asch Center.
The Institute bridges the gap between research and practice by bringing together social scientists and practitioners to study the origins and consequences of ethnopolitical conflict, including issues relevant to working with refugees and others suffering from this conflict.
Applicants should have the Ph.D. degree, or a Masters degree augmented with significant field experience.
The Center expects to support approximately 15 Fellows, including tuition, travel, and living expenses (budget covers the round-trip travel (at economy rates), housing (dormitory-type rooms), and daily group lunches for all of our Fellows).
