Eurasian Undergraduate Exchange Program (UGRAD) – (former FSA)
Academic year 2005 – 2006, U. S. A.
The Eurasian Undergraduate Exchange Program provides opportunities for first-, second-, and third-year undergraduate students for one year of full-time, non-degree study in the United States. Fellows may not choose their US host university/college or community college.
Fellowships will begin in August 2005 and will be completed within 10 months.
Fellows may concentrate in one of the following fields of study:
· Accounting (1-year students only)
· Agriculture
· American studies
· Business
· Computer science (1-year students only)
· Criminal justice
· Economics (2- and 3-year students only)
· Education (2- and 3-year students only)
· Environmental management
· Hospitality management (1-year students only)
· International relations (2- and 3-year students only)
· Journalism and Mass communications
· Law (1-year students only)
· Political science
· Psychology (1-year students only)
· Sociology
Unless otherwise noted, all fields of study are offered for first-, second-, and third-year students.
SELECTION PROCESS AND CRITERIA
After the deadline, all eligible applications will be reviewed by a panel of U.S. academic specialists in the United States.
Chosen semi-finalists will be interviewed in their home country by a bi-national committee of US specialists, program alumni, and US embassy representatives, and must take TOEFL in early 2005.
All applicants will be notified of their status in spring 2005.
