American Experience Academy, Indiana University Bloomington, Indiana, USA, June 30 - July 20, 2019
From the American heartland in Bloomington, Indiana, witness the breadth of the United States represented in one region through its cities, its rural agricultural areas, and your stay in a classic college town. During this three-week academy, you will join university students from around the world for an intensive review of U.S. values, governance, diversity, business and economy, education, religion, leisure activities, and identity. The academic program will be complemented by excursions to a community service organization, nearby Lake Monroe, the local Fourth of July parade, and the state capital.
Eligibility: the program is open to currently enrolled NaUKMA students at least 18 years of age who are proficient in English
Cost: US$3,300 (includes education program and activities, housing, and most meals, does not include travel and visa expenses)
Scholarship: due to the special partnership between Indiana University Bloomington and NaUKMA, Indiana University Bloomington offers scholarship funding in the amount of $1,650 (half of ONE program cost). Decision of awarding of the scholarship will be made by NaUKMA
