Mobility to the Tampere University
Under the framework of Erasmus+ programme, the Tampere University, Finland, offers one-semester mobility at the Master's Programme in Public and Global Health.
Who can apply? Kyiv-Mohyla students of the Master’s Programme in Public Health Management .
The deadline for application is September 25, 2021.
Mobility lasts from January to May 2022.
Financial details. Scholarship amount is 900 euro per month plus 275 euro to cover travel costs.
However, pay attention to the two additional issues.
1. The grant cover only 4 month of stay, while you will need to stay for 4,5 or even 5 months as semester starts at the beginning of January and ends in the middle of May.
2. The student will need to fund some pre-arrival costs, namely: residence permit application 350 €, health insurance for study period in Finland, a deposit for student housing 375 € (300 € is refundable), travel costs (refundable in the amount of 275 euro later), the first month payment for student housing (200-300 €, can be paid online only – no cash is accepted), the first month living costs as the first payment will be made only in the end of the first month (after the obtaining of Finnish bank account).
During the mobility, the students should take courses at the Tampere University for 25-30 credits ECTS. These courses can be recognized at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy as obligatory (if the course at the Tampere university is thematically close to Kyiv-Mohyla obligatory course), professionally oriented or as courses of free choice.
The list of courses, available at the Tampere University can be found here. Please, notice that you should choose courses from the time Periods III and IV.
How to apply?
When you have chosen courses at the Tampere University, please, fill the form for preliminary agreement and agree it with the head of the School of Public Health, Dr. Tetaiana Yurochko.
Fill the application form not later than September, 25, 2021.
After the submission of the application you will receive the link to your personal electronic folder. These links are not created automatically, so, it will be sent to you within a day after your application.
Not later than on September 26, upload to your personal electronic folder the following documents:
- CV;
- Preliminary agreement;
- Scan of your bachelor diploma and supplement;
- International English language certificate (optional, if you have it);
- Prove of social or research activities (optional, if you have it).
