4) Environment and civilization. GEOGRAPHY for sustainable development

The school is addressed mainly to students of geography and, more broadly, earth and environmental sciences, as well as for students of those faculties that take into account the issues of human-environment relations in their studies, in the field of biology or historical studies.
The school's curriculum includes classes devoted to the issues of sustainable development of societies from the point of view of knowledge developed by geographical sciences - referring to contemporary civilization challenges related to human impact on the biosphere, atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere and pedosphere. The subject matter of the classes refers to the currently occurring global climate changes - their impact on the functioning of the natural environment and societies, methods of mitigating the effects and adaptation to the ongoing changes. As part of the classes, issues of international cooperation regarding sustainable development in the era of climate change will be presented, especially activities carried out within the framework of the European Union and possible wider cooperation with neighboring countries. The issues of public education and the development of domestic and international sustainable tourism will be addressed. Classes will be held in classrooms and outdoors, in the cultural landscape of Central Europe, in western Wielkopolska. Classes will be conducted in the form of lectures, field presentations and discussions, by a team of specialists in the field of earth and environmental sciences of the Faculty of Geographic and Geological Sciences of the Adam Mickiewicz University.

5) Start-ups, transfer and digital studies

Adam Mickiewicz University Poznań, European University Viadrina Frankfurt, and Collegium Polonicum invites Students of partner Universities for the Summer School dedicated to Start-ups and digital studies. The school's curriculum includes classes devoted to the issues of Startups and will include Intercultural workshops, language courses and Startups presentations. One of the days will be dedicated to Berlin trip with Incubator PHINEO Startups Presentation and Berlin City tour. The location of the school is Słubice - Frankfurt/Oder.
