NaUKMA students are invited to the summer school in Selected issues in the field of science for humanities
NaUKMA students in IT, Mathematice and Natural Sciences (2-4 years of Bachelor level studies, 1-2 year of Master level studies) are invited to apply for participation in the summer school in "Selected issues in the field of science for humanities", organized by the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań on 10-13.04.2024
The aim of the Students School is to introduce and explain issues in the field of science in a way that is understandable and interesting for students of humanities. The classes will be conducted by renowned professors involved not only in research, but also in implementing these projects: prof. Jakub Rybka (vice director of the Center for Advanced Technologies, Adam Mickiewicz University) and prof. Kosma Szutkowski (Faculty of Physics, NanoBioMed Center, Adam Mickiewicz University). We plan lectures and workshops, but also interesting outdoor activities. The school will be implemented in Poronin and Zakopane - the heart of the most beautiful Polish mountains - the Tatra Mountains! (mostly Polish language courses with some Ukrainian translation).
For participants we provide transport (route Uman-Vinnytsia-Khmelnytskyi-Ternopil-Lviv-Poland and back), accommodation, meals (breakfast and dinner). The training will end with the certificate. ATTENTION! NaUKMA students will be responsible for traveling to Vinnutsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternoplil or Lviv to catch the bus, they will have to cover the cost of this part of the trip individually.
Those interested should apply here by 25 March at the latest.
Participation is limited for those who are curently in Ukraine. Male students can't apply.
