Літні можливості для студентів НаУКМА в Іспанії, Університет Альмерії
University of Almeria (UAL), Spain, and its Erasmus+ Summer School '26 (ESS) invites students (Undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD levels) of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy to participate at ESS, supported by the Erasmus+ KA-171 grant for short-term mobilities.
The ESS'26 will take place from July 6 to 24, 2026, hosting faculty and students from around the world — not only from Spain or the EU, but also from Albania, Armenia, Bosnia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Japan, Montenegro, Moldova, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia, South Korea, Ukraine, the United States, Uruguay, and many others.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the NaAUKMA students to develop both soft and hard skills in an intensive, multicultural learning environment, while enjoying summer on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. Courses will follow a highly practical approach and cover topics such as Financial Literacy, IT & App Development, Humanities, and Communication. You can explore examples of ESS’25 courses here, while the exact list of the ESS'26 courses will become available in June 2026.
The selected / nominated by NaUKMA / approved by UAL participants should have the following profile:
- Good command of English (at least 85 for the English language courses at NAUKMA or B2, confirmed by the offical language tests, e.g. IELTS, )
- complete, by the beginning of the School, at least 1 year of undergraduate studies
- Able to travel to Almería for two weeks during July 2026
- Expected to attend 16 hours of lectures per week and participate in at least one virtual challenge
- Students will obtain 4 ECTS for two weeks. Recognition of these credits is compulsory!
The NaUKMA students will receive a list with the private university dorms, youth hostel, hotels and areas with convenient short rentals (like AirBnb) at their disposal.
Selected / nomiated / approved for attendence students will receive a grant of:
- 79€ per day from day 1 to 14
- 56€ per day for uUp to two additional funded days for travel support
- Travel allowance: 580€
Grants' payments are made in cash on the first or second day of participation. Alternatively, participants may choose to receive their grant by bank transfer after the mobility (minus international transfer fees, usually 50–80€).
UAL can guarantee to accept at least two students with a 2 weeks grant!

Selection will be conducted without the interview, based on the criteria, defined by 2.6. of the NaUKMA Academic Mobility Regulations.
Particualrly the points will be grated for:
- academic standing. Academic standing will be checked by the NaUKMA International Office, there is no need to submit the NaUKMA transcripts
- for provision of the results of the official test of English language. If the official resuslts of the test is not provided, but the students have all the results of the English language courses, taken at NaUKMA, higher than 85, they will get 2 points. The grades for the courses will be checked by the NaUKMA International Office, there is no need to submit the NaUKMA certificates / English language courses results
- for the knowledge of Spanish, confirmed by the offcial certificate
- additional points will gramted for those students, who have signed the Corporate Agreement and have completed its requirements according to the provisions defined
- additional points will be granted to the students who belong to the vulnarable social groups
- students who will provide confirmation so its social activism or research work will be grated 3 additional points
- as the list of courses is not availabel on the moment of application, motivation will not be avaluated and considered towards the selection.
Students, who will get maximum points, will be nominated for participation.
