HUNGARY: CEU Summer University (SUN) Summer University (SUN)is a special postgraduate study-abroad program within Central European University (CEU). SUN is a meeting place for academics and professionals eager to look beyond their disciplinary boundaries. Students are exposed to an immense diversity of countries, disciplines, and perspectives, and have the opportunity to discuss issues openly in an atmosphere of tolerance and intellectual curiosity. While most of our participants are PhD students, we attract many others as well. These include postdoctoral fellows, junior researchers and other junior faculty; plus representatives of national and international organizations and ministries. SUN faculty teams consist of CEU professors and leading scholars and experts from universities worldwide. Our instructors work collaboratively with students on a variety of complex social and scientific themes, applying both traditional and nontraditional methods. JAPAN: The University of Tokyo Summer Internship Program in Kashiwa (UTSIP Kashiwa) The University of Tokyo Summer Internship Program in Kashiwa is : ◆A short-term summer program. ◆A program for undergraduate students in their 3rd or 4th years of study from institutions overseas, and are considering attending graduate school in Japan after graduation. ◆An opportunity for students to expose themselves to cutting-edge research in the natural sciences and social sciences UK: University of Sussex International Summer School The University of Sussex has a long history of welcoming international students. Although the majority of students come from the US, in 2013 the ISS alone attracted students from over 30 countries, making the ISS a truly international experience. From the end of June to mid-August, you can study with us for either four or eight weeks and choose from more than 60 modules in subjects including sciences, business, humanities and social sciences, allowing you to gain credit towards your degree or to experiment with something new.

1615 - Kyiv-Mohyla brotherhood school, later turned into Collegium, was founded

2012 - NaUKMA is a classical university with six faculties (Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Economics, Computer Sciences, Natural Sciences). During the twenty years since its re-establishment, Academy has initiated reforms in higher education, was the first university in Ukraine to introduce the bachelor, master and PhD programs, a curriculum in Liberal Arts Education, and a system of entrance tests
