SWEDEN: Swedish Institute Visby Programme, PhD level studies at Swedish universities, for academic year 2015/16 The Swedish Institute Baltic Sea Region Cooperation now has the pleasure to announce two scholarship (Master and PhD level of studies) calls for the academic year 2015/2016 within the Swedish Institute Visby Programme. The aim of the Visby Programme is to build an integrated, knowledge-based and research-intense region, centered on the Baltic Sea, but also bridging to the Eastern Partnership countries and the Russian Federation. The aim of the Visby Programme is to build an integrated, knowledge-based and research-intense region, centered on the Baltic Sea, but also bridging to the Eastern Partnership countries and the Russian Federation. AUSTRIA: Graz International Summer School Seggau 2015 – Shifting Perspectives: Europe and the Americas Focusing on the emphasis areas of the University of Graz – South Eastern Europe and North, Central and South America – the summer school will take place from June 28th to July 11th, 2015 at Seggau Castle in Styria, in the wine region close to the Slovene border. Emphasizing on the aspects of shifting perspectives, transformation processes and demographic change, interdisciplinary morning lectures will provide the context for the seven specialized seminar workshops in the afternoon.

1615 - Kyiv-Mohyla brotherhood school, later turned into Collegium, was founded

2012 - NaUKMA is a classical university with six faculties (Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Economics, Computer Sciences, Natural Sciences). During the twenty years since its re-establishment, Academy has initiated reforms in higher education, was the first university in Ukraine to introduce the bachelor, master and PhD programs, a curriculum in Liberal Arts Education, and a system of entrance tests
