GERMANY: STUDIENSTIFTUNG DES ABGEORDNETENHAUSES VON BERLIN The Studienstiftung des Abgeordnetenhauses von Berlin (Study Foundation of the Berlin House of Representatives) sponsors a scholarship program that aims at supporting young scholars. The program is directed to applicants from the United States of America, Great Britain, France and the countries succeeding from the former Soviet Union. The applicants should be working on projects concerned with Berlin, Germany or German-international questions or should want to use research facilities in Berlin in all other fields. The scholarship should be used to advance academic education at a Berlin institution of higher education. Graduate Student Symposium "Ukraine: Lessons of the Past and Outlook to the Future", The University of Toronto The University of Toronto's Centre for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (CERES) is pleased to announce the sixth bi -annual Graduate Student Symposium entitled "Ukraine: Lessons of the Past and Outlook to the Future" to be held in Toronto on March 14-15, 2014. The goal of the Symposium is to present new research and innovative thinking that explores the political, socioeconomic, and cultural dynamics in Ukrainian society. КОНКУРС «Перемагай з Левом!» 2013 для студентів: прояви себе та виграй поїздку у Франкфурт! Програма «Перемагай з Левом! Можливості для майбутніх лідерів» розроблена для ініціативних та активних студентів і молодих науковців, які пов’язують своє майбутнє з індустрією гостинності. Вже вдруге цього року у рамках міжнародного туристичного Форуму «Перемагай з Левом!» проходите програма «Перемагай з Левом! Можливості для молодих лідерів», що дозволяє активним студентам та молодим науковцям з українських ВУЗів безкоштовно взяти участь у Форумі, а також виграти поїздку за кордон для стажування та обміну досвідом.

1615 - Kyiv-Mohyla brotherhood school, later turned into Collegium, was founded

2012 - NaUKMA is a classical university with six faculties (Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Economics, Computer Sciences, Natural Sciences). During the twenty years since its re-establishment, Academy has initiated reforms in higher education, was the first university in Ukraine to introduce the bachelor, master and PhD programs, a curriculum in Liberal Arts Education, and a system of entrance tests
