GERMANY: Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe
The Bavarian Ministry for Science, Research and Art will sponsor scholarships for the academic year 2014/15. Graduates from Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine are eligible to apply. The scholarships are meant to finance doctoral or postgraduate studies at Bavarian universities. The objective of the annual scholarship program is to support scientific cooperation and academic exchange between Bavaria and Central-, Eastern- and Southeastern Europe.

Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland or Slovakia: Visegrad Fund In-Coming Scholarships
The In-Coming Scholarships scheme is suit­able for schol­ars who wish to study at accred­ited pub­lic or pri­vate uni­ver­si­ties or insti­tutes of the respec­tive national acad­e­mies of sci­ences in the Visegrad Group (V4) coun­tries (i.e., the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland or Slovakia). The International Visegrad Fund offers Master’s and Post-Master’s schol­ar­ships awarded to selected schol­ars for peri­ods of 1 or 2 semes­ters (with the excep­tion of Master’s schol­ar­ships within the In-Coming scheme where 1– to 4-semester schol­ar­ships can be awarded). The Scholarship Program is a specific program of the Fund created to facilitate academic exchanges by providing financial support to students or researchers who are citizens of the Eastern Partnership countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, (the Republic of) Moldova and Ukraine to study in the V4 countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia (hereinafter the “Member States”). All Higher Education Institutions accredited by the governments (ministries responsible for higher education) and Institutes of Academies of Sciences (hereinafter only “University/Institution“) are eligible to be host as well as home institutions. The aim of the Scholarship Program is to support the mobility of students and researchers among the specified countries.
